How to reach Dudhsagar Falls

You can board a bus from Panaji and get down at Tambdi Surla or you can also take a hired car or self-drive there. Once you get down at Tambdi Surla, you can reach Dudhsagar Falls by a hired taxi. Dudhsagar Falls is approximately 70 km from Panaji. The bus journey from Panaji will cost you approximately Rs 1000-1300 per head.

Another option is to take a bus from Baga Beach in Goa to Kulem, which takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. From Kulem, you can either take a jeep or a train to reach the falls.

Timings and entry fee

Dudhsagar Waterfall timings: Daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You do not need to pay any entry fee to see Dudhsagar Falls. However, charges are applicable to enter the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park.

Best time to visit Dudhsagar Falls

The best time to visit the Dudhsagar waterfalls is from October to May.

The Jeep Safari doesn’t operate during the monsoon season. The water also increases in volume during this time so it is risky to explore the pool and waterfall.

Although many people believe that monsoon is the best for visiting Dudhsagar Falls as the water levels are higher than normal and this gives a splendid few of the falls.

The weather is pleasant and the milky white flow of the water is a treat to the eyes.

Jeep Safari in Mollem National Park Dudhsagar Falls

Jeep Safari is the most reliable and convenient way to explore the jungle and reach Dudhsagar Falls.

It takes 40 to 50 minutes to cross the jungles and enjoy its scenic beauty.

To reach the Dudhsagar Falls you need to start your journey from the Mollem National Park and pass the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary.

Places to stay near Dudhsagar Falls

Jungle Book is a wonderful accommodation located in Sanguem, which takes 60 minutes from Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary. Continental breakfast is available every morning. Other amenities are available here with a protective environment.
