Jio revised its 4G data voucher plans amid lockdown

jio new plan

On 24th March, PM Modi announced a lockdown to the entire nation as a preventive measure to combat the Coronavirus outbreak.

To combat this lockdown and to combat with the work from home situation, Reliance Jio has introduced a new “Work from Home” 4G data voucher plan.

This is a data-only plan and doesn’t come with additional benefits.

This new Jio plan is priced at just Rs.251 and it is offering 2GB data per day with a validity of 51 days.

Once the data limit is reached for the day, users will still be able to use the internet but at 64 kbps speeds.

This plan is only a 4G data booster.

Jio users will see this new Rs.251 4G plan mentioned as work from home plan on the MyJio app.

On the website of Jio, this recharge plan is listed under the 4G data vouchers section.

Jio’s work from home plan comes shortly after BSNL and ACT Fibernet introduced the same kind of plans for its users.

Jio had also revised all its 4G data vouchers and is now providing almost double data.

Jio’s 4G data vouchers start at Rs 11 which comes with 800MB of data and 75 minutes of Non-Jio calls.

The second 4G data voucher priced at Rs 21 with 2GB data and 200 minutes of Non-Jio calling minutes. The third 4G data voucher which is available at Rs 51, offers 6GB of data and 500 minutes of Non-Jio calling minutes.

The most expensive 4G data voucher plan apart from the Work from home plan is priced at Rs 101 and this 4G data voucher comes with 12GB of data and 1,000 minutes if Jio to non-Jio calls.

Also, like the Rs 251 recharge plan, the 4G data vouchers have the validity of the already active Jio plan.

Also, the internet speed will be reduced to 64 kbps once the data limit for the day is reached.
