Cayuga Lake is the longest of the Finger Lakes (a group of 11 glacial lakes). Boating, swimming, & ice-fishing (during winter) are some of the activities you can enjoy doing here.
Lake Champlain is located between the Adirondacks & Green Mountains. This lake is considered one of the best lakes for swimming. Also, there are over 80 species of fish in the lake.
Also known as "Queen of American Lakes", this lake acts as a gateway to the Adirondacks. You can hop on a boat to spot the Millionaire's Row. Also, try some popular water sports here.
This is a mountain lake located in the Adirondack. You can relax in its tranquil environment or camp at many spots around it. Many people reach here by hiking the Trail of Cedars.
This lake is the largest of the Finger lakes & the deepest in NY state. Canoeing & kayaking are very popular activities here. There are also few amazing eateries near the lake to try out.
Canandaigua Lake is the forth largest Finger Lakes & is a popular getaway for nature lovers. Here you can rent a Kayak or Canoe to enjoy on the lake. There is also an island here.
This is another popular recreational lake in New York state. It is also one of the highest navigable lakes in North America. The water from the lake drains into the Chadakoin River.
